From the reviews
Very fancy hotel right over the water on pier 67. Rooms very clean and comfortable with a rustic comfortable cabin decor. I love the decorations. Complete with bar and restaurant, and a coffee/gift shop. Large lobby overlooking the bay with comfortable seating.
Started off a charity car cruise from this location. All the staff were super helpful and went above and beyond to assist us in getting setup / organized. Rooms had a beautiful view of the water to watch ships go back and forth. Near an aquarium and several nice restaurants. Rooms were very clean and well laid out.
Excellent Venue to work as a Wedding DJ. This event was on the 4th floor, and load-in was pretty straight forward. Elevators a little tight, but they work just fine. Good power outlets along the walls in key locations. Acoustics were good. Dance floor was large, robust, and centrally located.
What a cool place to stay while in such a fun city. This hotel was clean, had beautiful views, and was exactly what we wanted for the last two nights of our honeymoon. Very memorable stay and walking distance to so much!
Getting married at The Edgewater Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
