From the reviews

Can’t say enough positive things about this venue, and Michelle and her family! We originally had our wedding planned for September of 2020, but moved it to September of 2021. Michelle was so responsive and helpful in that process! She helped us whenever we had questions as well!

Original review: Attended a wedding at this venu. The old style is kinda cool if you like that rustic feel and, of course the water for some great photos. In my personal opinion is that it's not a great location. The closest hotel is 30 minutes out.

We had our wedding here this past weekend, the location is amazing, the building was perfect all of our guests complimented the location. As for Michelle, I can not say enough good things about her, she made sure we had everything we needed and even supplied things we were missing or needed, her and her family set…

Michelle at The Flyway Lodge is amazing! She and the entire team worked tirelessly to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. The space itself is gorgeous - the perfect backdrop for an outdoor party wedding. We loved everything about the place, from the beautiful natural setting to the seamless service.

Getting married at The Flyway Lodge

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
