Really fantastic hotel but if you’re looking for a fantastic guest experience get in contact with Kara. She is a wealth of information and has connections with everyone in town. She showed my wife and I around, took us to Oyster Ponds for a tour of their oyster farm and then a tour of the general area.
This place is wonderful! It's right in the middle of town, an incredibly easy walk from the LIRR and has beautiful views of the water! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and I was so happy sitting on the deck of my king room sipping coffee in the morning.
This beautiful boutique hotel is right on the main strip in Greenport with water views, beautiful rooms, thoughtful amenities, fantastic sister hotel with access for guests, and handicap friendly (which we needed). The staff is welcoming, kind, and helpful.
Spend a lovely anniversary weekday here. Nice room upgrade. Not the busy season so recently priced. Everything was clean and well kept. Free Continental brestfast was very nice. This was our 3rd time stay here and always loved it. Will definitely stay again. Love Greenpoint.
Getting married at The Harbor Front Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
