From the reviews
The Hedges is a beautiful place to spend your get-away time. It's located just outside town which is quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of traffic. There are bicycles to borrow to ride into town or just feel free to walk to town. The rooms are up-to-date, cozy, and finely appointed.
The Inn is absolutely beautiful and you will be well taken care of. Delicious breakfast provided to guests. We had our wedding here and the catering and venue were perfect. Highly recommended!
My friend got married here. Beautiful location, decent food and the staff was attentive without being in the way. We had a great time.
The hedges Inn stands in a hospitality class all its own in the Hamptons. The property is sophisticated and elegant without losing the local, family-friendly vibe that you want from a historic property in a small town.
Getting married at The Hedges Inn East Hampton
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
