We are so happy and thankful that we had our wedding at the Blue Rose! It is a beautiful venue, the staff is amazing, and the food was delicious! Lisa was fabulous at making sure everything went smoothly and taking care of all our needs.
I must say, I was really surprised to see the previous review of The Blue Rose, especially regarding Ginger. First of all, I was born and raised on the MS Gulf Coast and have ALWAYS heard wonderful things about The Blue Rose and the staff there.
This venue was perfect! The decor was perfect for the theme of this party! The staff was unbelievable! From set up, to helping the day of to interacting with the hosts and the guests to clean up! I've never been to a venue where the staff was also intermingled with the theme.
Absolutely stunning!! Great location for intimate events and finding some amazing antiques and art.
Getting married at The Historic Blue Rose Mansion
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
