What couples highlight
From the reviews
Hotel Marblehead is nearer to the main beach - it is easy and lovely. It is less than a mile away from the super old part of town (the “neck” part) so there is breathing space and room for parking your car @ the hotel. They offer a couple of bikes, but you can also walk to the shopping areas.
Beautiful and quaint hotel! Husband and I decided to visit Salem for our 1 year anniversary and this was the perfect place to do it. The staff was amazing, it was off the beaten path of the craziness that Salem is this time of year which made us happy! It only took 10 min by Uber into Salem which was amazing!
Getting married at The Hotel Marblehead
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
