Our family just returned from a wonderful vacation at the Modern Oceanside Cabin, owned by Houses on Manzanita Beach. We were delighted with the property as soon as we walked in the door! The cabin is actually more spacious than the photos show!
We absolutely adored staying at Kim and Eric’s place. We were blown away by the natural surroundings. You honestly cannot beat the views and outdoor set up with the fire pit. The beach is literally right there. The house was spotless and the beds were extremely comfy.
Renting a beach house on Manzanita Beach was a solid move. The house was clean, comfortable, and had enough space to actually relax. Being close to the beach made the whole stay feel effortless. The area is quiet and calm, perfect for enjoying the coast.
Perfect location and perfect accommodations! The home was gorgeous and well thought out. The kitchen was stocked with anything we could’ve needed. The fireplace was a big plus to make the home even more cozy on the chillier October evenings. Would definitely book it again!

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
