We had our wedding at the venue here, and the majority of our wedding guests stayed at the inn. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful this location was. Even though it was the off season (late October) we got incredibly lucky with the weather and fall colors on the trees.
I had a great experience today with the Inn's employee "Taylor". She was extremely professional but in the sweetest and most polite way. She was patient and I felt heard.
We just celebrated my son’s wedding this weekend. We rented 28 rooms including the Chesapeake and Shoreline suites with gorgeous views and full kitchens. We also rented the Bay breeze suite and Luxury suites and reg rooms and rooms with hot tubs as well.
We came in for a wedding and the facilities were lovely, the bay beach was very nice. Super pricey at $1200+ for 2 nights. The practical, simple property itself is beautiful, with a relaxing coastal vibe that really lets you unwind. Everything felt well-maintained, and the staff was friendly.
Getting married at The Inn at Herrington Harbour
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
