This was our first Alaska lodge experience and it was AWESOME! The lodge and cabins are tucked into a beautiful cove. The accommodations were very comfortable and the views stunning.
Fantastic time at Otter Cove. This is the second time we have come; both times for a family reunion, the second also including a wedding. Joe and Jonna were absolutely awesome, really listened to what our group's preference were and were completely accommodating. The setting is magnificent.
The Lodge at Otter Cove is truly a special place. Great views, world class fishing, and beautiful cabins aside, Joe and Johnna were amazing hosts, making sure our group had everything we needed. I can't wait to come back here!
This is a 1 of 1 trip of a lifetime. If you have ever thought you wanted to go to Alaska and catch fish, eat like a king and go on the adventure that you will never forget then this is the one.
Getting married at The Lodge at Otter Cove, Inc
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
