The view is amazing with trails right to a huge beach for beach combing and ocean tide treasure finding. The service is exceptional and the owners are as nice as they can be! We got there at 10 at night and they still helped us get set up with a place to lay our heads for the night after a long day of travel.
Wow!! The best of the best. The owner is so extremely nice and helpful. The place was clean and you cannot beat the views from the room!! He even has a private beach with a beautiful trail that goes to it. Thanks again! We will be back ❤️
The view was worth the whole stay. The deck was a bonus to have coffee in the morning and enjoy the tide changes. Excellent hosts. Nice path to the beach right outside the front door. I would recommend units 30-40 for premium views.
I highly recommend this little inn. I had read some reviews that called it dated, but that's part of its charm! The lock uses an actual key, the microwave controls are rotary dials and it worked great, I would love it in my own kitchen! Most important, everything was very clean and well-maintained.
Getting married at The Ocean Shores Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
