If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I was looking for a place to see Avocados, and maybe pick some. You know the kind of pay-by-the-pound. What I got was MUCH MUCH more than that. Perry is a joy, who will give you a history of the farm, and the location.
Absolutely incredible experience at Ocean View Farm in Carpinteria! Perry gave us such an amazing tour — you can truly tell how passionate and knowledgeable he is about the farm, organic growing, and the property’s history. The organic avocados and limes were gorgeous, and the ocean views are unreal.
What a wonderful day my sisters and I had with Perry at the Ocean View Farm! The setting is beautiful, the view amazing and we learned so much about organic farming. Perry teaches and shares information on farming in a fun and entertaining way. We would recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

Getting married at The Ocean View Farm
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
