We had our wedding there on 8/21/2021 and it was the perfect venue for us! Great rate, historic building with so much history! Not only was the venue perfect for us, the owner actually helped out during our big day! I'd recommend anyone to have any event there!
We had considered the Ballroom for our event because of its convenient downtown location, but when we met the owner Ryan, he surpassed our expectations with his level of service, making us comfortable with our decision to book the venue.
We rented this space with a very short turnaround for a corporate retreat and it worked out really great! The room is nice and despite the summer heat, was nice and cool in there. This is even one of the spaces downtown with spring water. The venue is lovely and Ryan was incredibly helpful.
Best ballroom in town! The new owners are sweet people and the space is beautiful and renovated. I will be hosting more events here in the future. I had 0 problems hosting an event here.
Getting married at The Olympia Ballroom
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
