From the reviews
If you are looking for the coziest, romantic venue located just off of the lake with beautiful views, then look no further! The Osprey is owned by two wonderful people who work so hard to make your dreams come true.
Our daughter’s wedding at The Osprey was amazing! The bridal suite was gorgeous and spacious. The outdoor setting was perfect for the ceremony, pictures, and cocktail hour. The elegant indoor area was beautiful and the reception was so much fun! Owners Martie and Kacy Mims are great!
We had our daughter’s wedding here in November 2024. We could not have asked for a better place for her to get married. The facilities were fantastic. The owner and his wife were wonderful to work with and made us feel so welcome.
I recently had my baby shower at The Ospry, and it was nothing short of perfect. The venue is beautifully designed, spacious, and filled with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was spotless and clearly well maintained.
Getting married at The Osprey
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
