Our dream came true - we got married at the Parker House! My family has been rooted in the Sea Girt area since the 1940s, with the Parker House serving as a common thread through generations. Growing up, I heard amazing stories from my father about summers at “The Shore” and unforgettable moments at the Parker House.
Four of us dined at Parker House in Long Beach, California. My first time there. Excellent food, cocktails, service and ambience. I had a 7 ounce filet mignon which was tender and delicious. It came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Husband had blackened salmon, others had sushi and fish and chips.
A nice beach bar just a short walk from the water. If you’re looking for a drinking abode look no further than this tucked away watering hole. Filled with high energy scantily dressed coeds after 6pm, this boozer has something for everyone.
Getting married at The Parker House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
