We had a truly fabulous stay at Port Ludlow Resort. The property is absolutely gorgeous, and our marina-view room was stunning and peaceful. Our trip was made even more special when we got engaged on Valentine’s Day during dinner in the Fireside Room—an unforgettable, magical moment.
This location was so beautiful, I live somewhat local and I still booked it for two nights because the quiet location with waterfront views, spacious rooms with fireplaces and jacuzzis, and the restaurant downstairs was enough to go but the STAFF.
This is a really nice place to go for a romantic getaway, a long walk on the sandy beach, or just to watch the sunset. Make sure to go to the waterfall and hike the trails around here they really make it worth it. If you have walking issue but can still ride an electric bike, they have those for rent as well.
Quiet, secluded, beautiful rooms, staff who care for you. Classy restaurant, great food. Clean rooms with big tubs. Great way to spend our 20th anniversary! We were here for our 3rd anniversary and it feels well kept. A little off the beaten path, but closer to home than we thought.
Getting married at The Resort At Port Ludlow
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
