We had our wedding at The Rockaway Hotel & Spa (rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and afterparty) and I couldn't recommend it enough!! From start to finish, the staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly.
We had our wedding at The Rockaway Hotel, everything was absolutely perfect. From the beginning of the exploration process, all the months in between of detailed planning, to the most magical day of and the morning after, TRH Events supported us thoroughly with kindness and professionalism in countless ways.
Just had my wedding here about a month ago and we can go on an on about how amazing it was. The Rockaway Hotel was so good to us and made it so easy to celebrate. Not only is it such a beautiful space, but everyone apart of the events team was great.
I have NEVER slept on a "foreign" bed & woken up without being stiff & sore! I am happy to report that there are no down pillows or comforters-which is great for those who are allergic & more humane! The staff were top-notch!
Getting married at The Rockaway Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
