From the reviews
Attended a wedding recently. Was very surprised at how nice the venue was. Great view of the Lake. Overall it was a great experience. Unfortunately it rained and was cold (that's what they get for an April wedding) so we didn't get to go out to the beach or the garden areas of the venue.
I had my wedding reception there. Everything turned out wonderful. We had the time of our lives.
This is a really nice space! I've been to 2 weddings here and really enjoyed the building and the view. The 2-story building was erected back in the 1930's for use as a public bathhouse. (I'm not 100% sure but it seems like it was a really fancy locker room right on the beach.

Getting married at The Roger Robach Community Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
