WEG is the best venue from start to finish. Look, people will remember the food, alcohol, and music at your wedding, and WEG ensured that the reception experience was stellar at every turn. The space is gorgeous; the staff is thorough and courteous; and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD.
The Water’s Edge at Giovanni’s is nothing short of spectacular. This place has been a cornerstone of so many special moments in my life—my wedding, countless memorable meals with my family and most recently, the incredible New Year’s Eve party. Once again, they exceeded every expectation. The food? Simply perfection.
Giovanni's is a special experience. In the 1760's it was simply a barn where George Washington kept his horse. Today it is a paragon of taste, refinement, hospitality and the essence of an old world appreciation for the finer things in life.
Getting married at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
