Initially, I was concerned my party wouldn’t enjoy our visit as we were seated in the sunniest outdoor spot with no umbrella or fan near our table. We had elected to reserve an early supper time slot, so it was extremely hot.
Hands down the best restaurant in Port St Joe / Mexico Beach / Cape San Blas / Indian pass. My husband always orders the Coconut crusted Grouper - which is always phenomenal. I’ve enjoyed the oysters, sushi, steak, etc.. great wine/cocktail list, too. Definitely add the fresh sourdough bread service.
We had a fabulous evening out on the deck for my beloved's birthday. Katie was an excellent server, she was absolutely lovely and so attentive. The raw oysters were amazing, as were all of our dishes, especially the coconut crusted grouper. The Caesar salad was the best I've ever had!
Lovely anniversary dinner!! The oysters with the chef’s special sauce were incredible. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the accompanying whipped potatoes and asparagus were delightful. My ragu (not pictured) was also very tasteful. Our server, James, was very attentive and impressive.
Getting married at The White Marlin and Oysterette
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
