We had our wedding at the WCOE this past December and the venue was perfect. The remodel is stunning and means less decorations are necessary since the venue speaks for itself. It's also nice that the tables and chairs are included, as are the dishes, so there's no need to worry about anything extra like that.
My wife and I just had our wedding at The Woman's Club, and we could not have been happier with our decision. The venue is absolutely beautiful, perfectly maintained with historic charm & character.
My husband and I had our wedding at The Woman’s Club of Evanston in October 2025, and we truly cannot recommend this venue enough. The space is gorgeous on its own — not a blank slate at all — so we didn’t need nearly as many decorations or flowers as we did at other venues we considered.

Getting married at The Woman's Club of Evanston
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
