We had the wedding of our dreams at Turnagain View Lodge. The lodge slept us and our entire wedding/bridal party the night before and night of the wedding comfortably. There was plentiful drinkware and accommodations for everyone. We did bring extra air mattresses and they fit easily into the space.
Amazing majestic views and pristine alpine surroundings. Thank you Roger and Arlene Cowles for providing the most spectacular amazing incredible Alaskan venue for the wedding of Lori and Jeff! We could not have asked for anything more.
We were able to have our wedding at Turnagain View Lodge. The views are spectacular, the hosts are wonderful, friendly and generous people. The lodge is clean, warm and inviting and has everything one would need for a little getaway. I highly recommend this lodge as a venue or just for an overnight comfortable stay.
This Lodge is a fantastic place to get together with friends/family, and enjoy the scenery. The views are breathtaking and the lodge itself is high class and accommodating. Getting married at Turnagain View Lodge & Wedding Venue
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
