We had our wedding at Vandiver Inn September 26th. It was such an easy and seamless process. Courtney was our coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful. Between the communication, timeline help and advice, she really minimized our stress.
I would definitely recommend the Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace, Maryland!! We planned a wedding there and it was beyond anything we could have hoped! The location is beautiful, the lodging was perfect, the food was delicious, and the staff beyond compare!!
This is long overdue, but I had my wedding at The Vandiver Inn early last month and it was a complete dream! My family and friends couldn't stop complimenting the beauty of the venue - from the patio and cigar lounge to the front porch bar and gorgeous pavilion for our garden-themed reception.
Upfront pricing, great staff, friendly owners, and yummy food. We recently had our wedding here and it went great! We received so many compliments from our family and friends too. Highly recommend this place if you want a well flowing and low stress wedding.
Getting married at Vandiver Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
