It is really fun. Brings our family together and helps us bond more. Gives us memories we will always remember. It is very pricey, though, especially for Hawai'i residents. A lot of us have big families. It costs a lot just for a family of 5. Even with the Kama'aina rate.
Went to Wai Kai for my son’s friend’s 10th birthday party, and it was an absolute blast! Super underrated and hope this post help those looking for some quality time fun with the family. The service was top-notch, and both kids and adults had a great time.
This place has great food, great atmosphere, and the view from restaurant is amazing. Sometimes the glass is open which is fun. Three huge big screen TVs for sports. Open at 7am on Sundays for football. They give a 10% discount to military, daily and 20%on Tuesdays. Servers are the best.
I was a an K9 Kokua Event and after clean p we decided to go to the Lookout for some refreshing drinks. Beers and Margaritas. Ordered pupus, mushrooms, chichirones, and nachos. This was my 2nd time here. Everything was great. Mahalo
Getting married at Wai Kai
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
