Me and my husband had our wedding here and let me just say, WOW. Not only is the venue stunning, but the staff is incredible. Some of the nicest people, and so helpful. The woman who runs the place, ReAnne, is an angel. She will be another huge asset to having your wedding here.
We had our wedding here on 11/6/21 and it was everything I ever dreamed of. This place is so beautiful and we love that it use to be an old train station. It has such a rustic feel with the wood floors and brick walls. It was exactly what we were looking for in a venue.
My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception at the Civic Center. We really enjoyed getting to know ReAnne. From the start she was so helpful and let us visit anytime we needed to measure or try something out. The reception turned out beautiful!!
We had our wedding here and it was beautiful and perfect. Charlotte was amazing to work with during planning. Their team made day up and clean up so easy. There was also plenty of room to get ready which was nice. And having the water front nearby made for beautiful pictures.
Getting married at Washington Civic Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
