From the reviews

Beautiful view across Like Champlain to New York. Relaxing Benches If You're Lucky. Remember to wear sunglasses if you'll be there in the afternoon. It can get pretty bright on your face. With a blanket you can relax on the lush green lawn in the shade!

Great waterfront park with events during summer and fall. Summer concert series has been great! The brewers festival is also a must go if you love draft beer.

Burlington has alot going for it, especially in summer, and Waterfront Park is a beautiful attraction. There is a restaurant with restrooms, public restrooms also available and lots of places to walk to. There are a couple of stands to get Vermonts famous creamies and walkable paths throughout.

We always go to waterfront park in Burlington, VT for the fourth of July fireworks. It has a wonderful boardwalk and benches if you want to hang out and watch the boats. It's also located quite near the Ecco Lake Champaign Center which is great if you have kids. Overall, the waterfront is pretty great.

Getting married at Waterfront Park

Waterfront Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
