A warmly inviting and elegantly appointed hotel nestled in the picturesque waterfront town of Tiburon, where tranquility meets understated luxury. From its vantage point, guests are treated to sweeping, postcard worthy views of the San Francisco skyline glimmering by day and enchanting by night.
Every single thing about our visit at Water's Edge was perfect! The hotel is so well-appointed and comfortable. The amenities are so thoughtful and make every day so special! From the complementary breakfasts with a different delicious pastry every day to the wine in the evenings and even the cookies later at night...
One of the most unusual hotels I have stayed in. Small, cute, and friendly but its most delightful features are its location on Main Street in Tiburon and its back deck. The deck directly faces San Francisco across the bay.
Waters Edge Hotel is a beauty in this hidden gem known as Tiburon. Our group stayed there for a two night retreat and felt so relaxed and at home during our stay.
Getting married at Waters Edge Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
