This is for the brides looking for a venue!!! We got married at Wentworth by the sea hotel & spa in October 2025! We looked at quite a few places before deciding on this venue! I can honestly tell future brides that it was the BEST choice we have ever made!
This hotel is a great place to stay! We have stayed here twice now while visiting family and can say it’s the best choice when in New Hampshire! The rooms are so nice and clean. Beautiful view of the water! Getting texts real time asking if we need anything is so helpful!
This is a very nice old historic hotel with modern amenities. You have the view of the harbor nice pool area with pool bar, restaurant on harbor edge, and bar and restaurant inside hotel. The hotel has character and charm which a lot dont have.
The Wentworth is a lovely old hotel in a beautiful setting. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and our view, in a corner room with 4 windows, was terrific. The staff is attentive, warm and professional. The hotel restaurant, SALT, is exceptional.
Getting married at Wentworth by the Sea
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
