From start to finish, this was hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The service was nothing short of exceptional – from the friendly and efficient receptionist, to the helpful valet, to the attentive food service staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make my stay perfect.
You can’t get a better location. I stay here every time I need to be on the south side of LA. The rooms are spacious. The patio is perfect. The restaurant is always delicious. And what really makes this hotel special is the service. The last time I was there, I had some high maintenance requests.
Close to LAX. I usually stay at Marriott Airport LAX, but for an extra few minutes of drive time, youre close enough but can still feel youre away from airport. Area and hotel is great! Staff is really friendly and hotel bar and restaurant offer a great view during sunrise and sunset.
This is a top notch hotel located perfectly in Manhattan Beach but close to the 405. It’s 1000-times nicer than the old regular MB Marriot that got an upgrade 8 years ago.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
