A really gorgeous property with quiet rooms and great common areas. The property managers are very helpful and sweet too! Don't expect too much from the town, make sure you've brought all you need, but the industrial kitchen is stocked with equipment and there are several lawn games available.
Willsboro Inn served as home-base for a 40 person family reunion. While some stayed at nearby rentals, all gathered at the Inn for recreation and dinner. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.
This Inn has so much to offer and was the perfect destination for our family reunion of 32. Rooms are a good size, clean & quiet, with comfy beds; the lodge huge with a well appointed kitchen, large dining area, and lots of room to visit and play one of the many games available.
The various rooms were fine, although a few of them lacked water pressure in the showers. That should be corrected. The kitchen facilities are great, and the dining area worked pretty well for the most part. The location is fantastic, although the building sits up on a hill above the lake so there is a bit of a walk.
Getting married at Willsboro Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
