Excellent 5 diamond hotel! Amenities Staff and service was great! Restaurant awesome food. Lot of food for the money. Had one or two little issues with the room which were quickly taken care of by Joanne the manager. Beautiful pool and hot tub. You will not be ever disappointed. We go there at least 1-2 times a year.
This place is beautiful! Rooms are very nice. Turn down service is great. The grounds are well kept and comfortable. 2 outdoor fireplaces make for a great place to relax with friends. Starbucks coffee on every floor make the mornings much better. Conference spot, check! Outdoor seating is also beautiful.
Clearly a solid 4 star hotel with a fantastic location, 3 minute walk to business district of Clayton, which is clearly an upscale town with many nice restaurants. The hotel is classy - great restaurant and bar. Beautiful location on the St. Lawrence River. Fun to watch the large ships pass by.
Getting married at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
