“We wanted a small destination wedding on Hilton Head island but were a little worried about doing everything over the phone since we weren't familiar with the island.”
“On the day of our wedding, he was great - friendly, calm and loud enough that our wedding guests could hear him over the waves and breeze!”
From the reviews
My husband and I were married in Charleston in April and everything turned out better than we could have imagined thanks to Reverend Leininger. We were both raised Catholic but we really wanted to have our wedding outdoors which is not something that the Catholic Church makes easy.
My husband and I wanted a small, intimate wedding to celebrate with just our closest family and friends. And Reverend Leininger fit in perfectly! He is so warm, funny, and personable; it felt as if we have known him for years.
Rev David was absolutely amazing and made our wedding so memorable! We had a destination wedding and David was extremely easy to work with. He was so kind, helpful and wanted to make sure our ceremony was special to us which we greatly appreciated!
Rev. David Leininger made our special day even more special. We planned a very small wedding in two months and contacted Rev. David Leininger a little over a month before. It could not have been easier working with him. His website had everything on it, including the words for the service and a PayPal to pay him.
Getting married at A Wedding in Paradise
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
