Our son's wedding at Addy Sea was nothing short of extraordinary. Full of charm, history and the most beautiful location. Every detail of the entire weekend was executed with such professionalism and care! The staff was warm, attentive and completely on top of everything without being intrusive.
Our recent stay at the Addy was to say the least - amazing and memorable! We were there for my daughter Caitin’s wedding to her-now-husband Devin, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! From the location to the historic Inn, charming rooms, and excellent service by everyone - it couldn’t have gone better!
This charming inn has the most beautiful of beachside views. We chose a room with a corner sitting area. where we looked directly out to sea through a frame of sea grass and sand. We spent an afternoon reading and watching the rhythms and colors of the ocean.
This was our first visit and we were so impressed we reserved for next year before we left. The inn is beautiful! A lot of the original charm has been preserved and every modern amenity has been added. Great location, spotlessly clean, lovely staff and delicious food. It was a perfect getaway.
Getting married at Addy Sea Historic Oceanfront Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
