Loved this place!!! Would stay again. Spacious, bright room and large bathroom. A literal 5 minute walk from the beach. Nice amenities offered too!! Since we were there after Memorial Day, we got free rentals on a beach umbrella and 2 chairs, 2 free alcoholic drinks in the room, and 10% off at the seafood restaurant…
Great location only 7 minutes from the beach and 11 minutes from the boardwalk. You don’t just get the room but perks to nearby restaurants, beach chairs etc. also great parking that comes included
Stayed here twice and we enjoyed both times. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean, and it’s a quick walk or trolley ride to the beach. It’s nice to have a quiet room away from the boardwalk!
We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We did not like the parking charges or the mandatory resort fee for beach equipment…..we have our own gear.
Getting married at Hotel Bethany Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
