Wow! Honestly staying here at AAC was by far one of the best stays that I have booked in a long time, especially considering it was literally last minute! I came across AAC on Google Maps when searching for hotels in the Homer area, and this one immediately stood out!
I cannot recommend Alaska Adventure Cabins highly enough. Evelyn, the owner, communicated with me consistently for the past six months leading up to my trip, which made planning from across the country feel easy and stress-free.
We both agreed that this was hands down the best air bnb we have stayed at and we have been to quite a few all over the state. The view is absolutely amazing and the cabin was perfect, we brought our little Husky pup and he made fast friends with Scarlett the property owners black lab.
Excellent. One of the best experiences we’ve had renting air bnb’s. Location is great. The view in the mornings was awesome. The converted train car was cool, but the photo book showing how it came to be there was a really cool touch and me and my fiancé had a great really enjoyed cuddling up and looking at the photos.
Getting married at Alaska Adventure Cabins
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
