“An affordable venue in a very unaffordable place!”

From the reviews

An affordable venue in a very unaffordable place! Super cool old kitchen perfect for catered food. Nice chandeleirs and feeling of history. Booking is a bit complicated because one does so through the city of Alameda. Parking is not optimal. Otherwise, though, it is a fabulous local option for events.

The old officers club for alameda naval station a great place to hold an event ample parking lots of space and a lot of history between the walls

My daughter was here for summer camp so they were outside but the building itself inside is beautiful! Great for a wedding or other formal even if they host them. (One of the bathroom.doors doesn't close all the way and should be fixed.)

Friends of Alameda Free Library Annual Spring Book Sale Event. Literarily , tons of books well categorized displayed and price were really affordable to any book lover. So many books, so little time!

Getting married at Albert H. DeWitt Officers' Club

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
