Worth a visit to this place if in the area! When I visited it was very peaceful, barely any people around, and there is a beach right next door for some Lake Michigan views. The P-51 Mustang aircraft replica was beautiful to go along with the wonderful Tuskegee dedicated plaque and statue.
The event turned out so nice. A little mix in communication when reserving the date I believe I requested but very accommodating to fix the issue. I think it's a Gem in the community that so reasonably priced you can't help but want to go back and reserve it again especially if you want a beachfront view.
The Aquatorim in Gary is a historic, landmark building which was an old school bath house. It’s currently used for special events but accessible by the public. The sweeping views of Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes are really a beautiful sight.
A beautiful beach oasis, there's literally something for everyone. Beach, picnic area, hiking trail, nature, kiddie park, food hut, live music and events. I would check their website for more details.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
