First time staying at this place but going forward I will not stay anyplace else. I don't get to Sitka as much as I would like but from now on this is where we will stay. I like the location, it's very clean I can't stress that enough, the rooms are comfortable and set up well with a good sized bathroom.
4 Stars – Very Convenient This hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of downtown Sitka, making it a very convenient option for anyone wanting to be close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Although I didn’t stay overnight, the property looked clean and well-kept both inside and out.
Very clean, good location, friendly staff. Stayed two nights here and it did not disappoint. It’s a fairy quiet park of town but still within walking distance to most shops and restaurants. The room has anything and everything you think you might need. Definitely recommend.
Hotel was clean and very accommodating. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area and eager to assist. Great location to dining, shopping, sightseeing and tour connections. The general manager Ryan was continually going above and beyond! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Getting married at Aspen Suites Hotel Sitka
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
