Barefoot Beach Club is in a wonderful location at Madeira Beach. Walking distance to John’s Pass with shops, restaurants, and bars. The rooms are spacious and clean. Pool area is great and relaxing. Plus: they have towels for you to use pool side.
Have been here 3 times. Its always wonderful. The beach front rooms are comfortable and have a beautiful view and sunset. Both pools and hot tub are well kept and the rooftop lounge is nice... the only thing its missing is a bar lol but thats okay because it's just a quick walk to Johns Pass!
We enjoyed our stay overall. Service was friendly. Room was clean only issue i found was the refrigerator wasnt wiped out well and had alot of milk and dirt in bottom of door shelf. Bed was ok... stayed on much worse. There was plenty of utensils, plates and cups. Studio had no cooktop.
We only stayed here for a short time, but it was thoroughly enjoyed. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach and a short walk to John's Pass. The pool and grounds were immaculate. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend time at the beach. Parking was easy, and we always had a space to pull in.
Getting married at Barefoot Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
