The Bask Hotel is one of those places where you immediately begin to unwind. Perfectly situated overlooking the harbor channel, it offers peaceful waterfront views with comfortable places to sit and watch fishing boats, yachts, and sailboats glide by throughout the day.
The air handler was so loud I couldn't sleep and once I was asleep it came on again and woke me up. it also blows loud hot air directly on the private balcony so you can't sit there to take in the serene view. The room has water damage visible along windows. Very nice full kitchen and large living room.
Clean , comfortable, and very good location. This was our first time here. We choose accommodations that are nice and we dont mind paying more for good service, but this place was a lot less and as good or better. There is no bar or restaurant, however, you are very short walk to all od that.
Getting married at Bask Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
