The Diplomat is a lovely hotel with a great beach location. Upon entering you feel like you are in a Florida jungle paradise (an elegant one). The adult pool area is beautiful but the seating is limited. The family pool is much larger and has plenty of chairs. The beach is great with chairs available.
Luisa is a lovely and pleasant staff member by the pool. Smiles every morning with towel service. The hotel is really lovely, we enjoyed the Solera last night. There was jazz, excellent service for food and drink and the vibe and atmosphere was lovely.
I had such a great few days at The Diplomat Beach Resort. It’s the perfect mix for both kids and adults you can relax while the kids are having fun, which made the whole stay even better. The views were amazing and the resort itself is absolutely beautiful.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
