This is an exciting little museum that is divided into various buildings and is a truly underrated tourist attraction. The main building is painted Flagler yellow, which is the color named after the Florida railroad tycoon, Henry Flagler.

This is not only a museum but also a beautiful art gallery where local artists showcase their work. There is also a small theater where local documentary videos are shown, a gift shop, many historical exhibits, a huge steam engine with its own dedicated building and a small Church and other historic buildings on the…

This a cute, little local history museum. You can tell they put a lot of effort into making the main exhibit: all the walls have a wonderful beach mural and the descriptions go in-depth (one made me chortle 🤭). My favorite part was the tour of the historical buildings that got moved to the museum.

What a beautiful little surprise as I walked the main road to get to the Goodwill. I didn't even know this was here. Butterflies flying around in the little beautiful garden as a stroll through the outbuildings beautiful 75° day. Pablo and 6th Street between route 90. St Paul's Church It's just what I needed. Really.

Getting married at Beaches Museum

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
