From the reviews
A great place for a weekend getaway! Spent the weekend here to get away from the city and it was a fantastic experience. The units were well furnished and clean, and the amenities were awesome.
We had fun at this little place. We aren't too picky as long as we could bring our dogs. The Beachwood Resort is dog friendly. We rented a condo and had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna weren't working properly but all other amenities were great. They have a clam cleaning hut combined with a laundry room.
What an easy place to unwind! Kind of a flashback in time, a welcome one for us. Each apartment is spacious and clean. The walk to the ocean beach is a treasure itself, a trail over a little foot bridge and through the dunes.
It is clean and has rustic charm. The couch in our condo was a old classic. Big enough to be a twin bed and you and your spouse can pass out on after a long day of play with a wood fire stove that keeps you toasty and huge bay windows surrounding glass doors to enjoy resodent angora bunnies, Do NOT Forget the new…
Getting married at Beachwood Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
