We had a really lovely stay at the Best Western Agate Beach Inn! We stayed on the hill side, which was surprisingly beautiful, and it was great that there were entrances on both the upper and lower levels of the building.
The exceptional service at Best Western Plus Agate Beach Inn is unmatched. When our stay was disrupted by another guest, General Manager Josh personally looked into the situation and called me directly to help resolve it.
Great location, easy walk to the beach. Even at high tide there is plenty of sandy beach to explore. Room was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable, shower was hot and had good water pressure, A/C worked well. Pool and hot tub were great, although the water and air temp of the pool could’ve been a smidge warmer.
This hotel was amazing. The location was on the edge of the city tucked away in a secluded part next to an amazing beach. The views from the balcony of the ocean were spectacular. The rooms were clean and modern and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone.
Getting married at Best Western Plus Agate Beach Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
