Wonderful location to beach access. Stayed in Yurt A12 in loop A. Large campground. Appeared that many sites had room for larger vehicles/campers/rvs. Some roads through the back half of the campground are in a bit of disrepair.
Beautiful, easy beach access with large bathrooms. Dogs/pets allowed. Picnic areas and tables. For the campground, depends if it’s “full” or not if it’s going to be quiet or loud. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am. We were in our tents by 10:30 and it was excessively noisy until close to 11:30. Then it was peaceful.
We love this beach! After taking our family to a bunch of different spots along the coast, we found this one many years ago and it has become our go-to! I plan most beach photo sessions with my clients here because I love it and there's not usually a million people!
Great campground to really feel the seclusion of camping without being too far out. Nice and dark. The woods make it feel secure and separate from your neighbors. Relatively flat. Beach access is adequate and you can see the ocean from many paces in the campground.
