This is a PUBLIC PARK - kayak launch (there is a private glass bottom kayak boat tour that launches from here- there is also a free community kayak program that launches from here), fishing pier, Sarasota rowing crew practices out of here and you can’t use the fishing dock when they have practice, picnic tables,…
So I decided to pit-stop here and stretch my legs on my west coast trip, and boy was I glad I did. The property is greatly cared for, and the grounds are spectacular. Home to the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast. A must see for those traveling through👍👍👍👍👍.
Many dont know of this FREE PUBLIC PARK. It's incredible and has fantastic views. You can also get in touch with their Wedding Event Planner and hold your wedding here as well. Sits right on the water with fantastic views. Take a stroll or learn how to kayak with their kayak group right on site!

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
