Great experience. It was our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff was awesome and went and purchased(upon my request)flowers and wine to have in the room as a surprise to my wife. They had towel swans and everything was set up perfect. The only problem was no snow as it was a snowmobile trip so we cut the trip short.
We bring a group here and it has been a great experience every time. The staff are easy to work with and always have things set up for us when we arrive. Love the location. Close to black beach makes for a great short walk/run to the beach for some beautiful views.
The slide was amazing. Our kid completed the "mile" and it was fun to see him so focused. Kids do need to be "48." For the price so much was included. It was a great place to stay. Wonderful view of the water.
My family is looking forward to staying at Black Beach Inn. After reserving we had to add a rollaway bed, Jeffrey was very helpful and added it quickly. Thank you!
Getting married at Black Beach Inn Silver Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
