From the reviews
Bliss by the Sea is truly a gem. So cute, peaceful, and romantic. It’s in a great location just a few minutes from the beach access and 15-20 minutes from the historic district. The building and rooms have so much character, it totally beats staying in a basic chain hotel.
Bliss By The Sea is truly a unique experience. My wife and I have stayed here three times and the most recent stay we had the pleasure of staying in their master suite which has four bedrooms, full building balcony view, and rooftop access. The host, Caisley, went above and beyond to make sure we felt accommodated.
Rooms are all individual in decor and very relaxing. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset is amazing. Hotel staff are super friendly and very helpful. Will definitely return.
Very nice rooms. Bed was way too soft, but was able to take the topper off. It was fine after that. Shower was awesome. Very quiet and peaceful. Great view of the waterway.
Getting married at Bliss By The Sea
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
