The Queen’s Quarter exceeded expectations!!! It was definitely fit for a queen, her king, and princess or princesses. The owner(Ms. Karen), was beyond accommodating!! She, along with the manager, was there for every thing we needed !!
For the price it is a great place to stay. The property manager was a very respectful young man that took the time to answer all questions, mentioned places to go locally and the best places to eat and shop here on the isle. I am definitely returning to the blue dolphin for future travels.
It's always a pleasure to stay at the Blue Dolphin. This was our 4th trip to Grand Isle and stay at Blue Dolphin as a family. The facilities are clean, convenient and friendly. The only issue I have worth the property is the upper level walkways are made from wood instead of concrete.
Our stay at Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages was great for our family of four. We chose a cottage and it was perfect. Checking in and out was seamless and easy. Cleanliness is a top priority and our cottage was spotless. We will be staying here again as our kids have already asked when we’ll go back.
Getting married at Blue Dolphin Inn & Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
