From the reviews
We had our wedding dinner reception at the Boathouse on the Bay in Long Beach, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The communication throughout the planning process was truly on point Sonny did an incredible job making sure all of our questions were answered and that everything ran smoothly.
Food was expensive for dinner! Had the turkey club which was the cheapest thing to get at $20, it was memorable. Unfortunately, not a lot of small tapas or apps for a small bite. GREAT views.
Fantastic ambience & delicious food. Server Nadia was very sweet. Loved their scenic view. We celebrated pre Valentine’s Day dinner.
Visited this establishment unplanned. But glade we did. Jeff is a great server. Friendly, polite and one can tell, he likes his job. The hostess could have been a little friendlier, but perhaps it was not her day. Food was great, view is excellent and the atmosphere inviting. I can only recommend this location.
Getting married at Boathouse on the Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
