As a Boston wedding photographer, I find the Boston Harbor Hotel is such a beautiful place to celebrate a wedding. The beautiful harbor views and timeless architecture create such an elegant setting for a wedding celebration.
What a great stay my wife and I had celebrating our anniversary and ringing in the New Year! The hotel is very nice and the staff is very attentive. We enjoyed a cocktail in the Dark Bar which we can't wait to return to. Great vibe and service.
I had an amazing stay here with my mom. I have an amex so I booked through the fine hotels program with those benefits and will definitely do so again. Everyone was super helpful, professional and courteous. They went above and beyond . Highly recommend. Great location too - easy to get around the harbor.
Best hotel and location to stay in Boston! We’ve stayed at the hotel twice and have always been impressed by our stay. The staff members are kind and always address anything we need. Highly recommend - we will be back multiple times in the future.
Getting married at Boston Harbor Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
